Sąsiada spotkasz w puszczy

By wystartować w biegu z cyklu imprez "Witaj sąsiedzie" organizowanym przez Moje Miasto Szczecin znaleźliśmy się na samej granicy Szczecina i Puszczy Bukowej - przy ogródkach działkowych na ulicy Chłopskiej. Przed startem zostaliśmy przypisani do odpowiednich dzielnic i o 14, podzieleni na trzy grupy, ruszyliśmy na liczącą 5,4 km trasę.

Poprzeczka została postawiona wysoko - podbiegi, zbiegi i zakręty wyciskały z nas siódme poty mimo chłodnej aury. Na półmetku każdy uczestnik dostawał smycz i wracał tą samą drogą, co sprzyjało integracji między biegaczami.

Najszybsi byli na mecie już po dwudziestu paru minutach, ale w tych zawodach liczył się głównie wysiłek zbiorowy. Zwyciężyła dzielnica Północ i możemy się pochwalić, że mieliśmy w tym swój skromny udział.

Po ukończeniu biegu przez całą naszą reprezentację spontanicznie urządziliśmy ognisko tuż obok linii mety. Po skonsumowaniu błyskawicznie dowiezionych kiełbasek przenieśliśmy się nad Staw Rubinowy, gdzie nastąpiło oficjalne ogłoszenie wyników i wręczenie nagród, a to wszystko w atmosferze prawdziwego festynu.
